Staying the Night

Charlotte laughed and followed him, while kissing his neck. She remembered Bryanna. "Was she better?" she asked suddenly. Not that it mattered, but Charlotte was curious about it.

Aaron stopped slightly and gave Charlotte a curious look. "Was who better?"

"Bryanna." Charlotte answered, almost in a whisper. "Was she better?" she asked again.

Aaron completely stopped in his doorway and just stood there holding Charlotte. "I never slept with her when we were datin'." He replied in a low voice.

"Oh." Charlotte muttered. She felt her question had totally broken the moment. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." she apologized.

Aaron shook his head. "No it's fine. I'm just curious, why do you ask?" He muttered.

"Just... curiosity." Charlotte gave him a small smile. Of course she was jealous of Bryanna, she just didn't want to admit it to Aaron.

Aaron managed a meek smile in return. "Curiousity killed the cat sweetheart. Don't worry 'bout stuff like that."

Charlotte rolled her eyes at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "As you wish." she whispered, and kissed him passionately.

Aaron moved his hands down to Charlotte's waist as he returned the kiss. He led her back to the bed and kicked the door shut.

Charlotte fell on the bed and wrapped her legs around Aaron's waist.

Aaron climbed on top of her and pulled his shirt off her. "Shame, I do like shirt better on ya." He laughed softly and kissed her again.

Charlotte laughed. "Just... shut... up." she said, between kisses.

Aaron chuckled. "Like that's ever gunna happen." He smirked.

Charlotte rolled her eyes and tightened her legs around his waist. "I can see that." she chuckled and shut his mouth with a kiss.

Aaron laughed and kissed her back.

*Later*
Aaron looked at the clock and rolled out of bed. He grabbed his clothes out his closet. "Hey I've got to get goin'. I probably won't be back tonight. So, I'll have to catch ya some other time."

Charlotte nodded. She knew where Aaron was going, and decided not to stop him. "See you." she said. "I have to go to Grimmauld anyways." Charlotte smiled and got dressed, apparating away.

**The next day**

Aaron apparated back into his empty house. He tossed his bag to the floor and walked over to the sink. With his elbow, Aaron turned the water on and held his hands under the cold water. The blood that coated his hands washed off, dyed the water a pinkish color. A lot had happened in just one day. Bryanna. Danielle's kid. Aaron shut the water off and leaned against the counter. He slid down into a sitting position and rested his head backwards.

Charlotte heard Aaron arriving. She came out of the room and leaned against the wall, crossing her arms over her chest. "Hey." she greeted him, and walked over to him. "You okay?" Char asked, and went to sit next to him.

Aaron jumped at Charlotte's presence. He didn't realize she was still here. "We can't see each other anymore.." He said hoarsely. "You need to get out of here. Now."

Charlotte smiled and nodded. "I know." she muttered and chuckled sadly. "I always knew. I hope we can stay friends, though. You're a great person, Aaron."

"It's not that I want to leave you." Aaron gave her a small smile. "It's just that, the Ministry will probably be here any minute now. And it wouldn't look so good if ya were here. I can't stand to see you risk your life for mine." He brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Thank you for everythin'."

Charlotte nodded and kissed his hand. "I should thank you. For everything." she hugged him tightly. "I'll always be there for you." Char whispered softly in his ear, and let him go. "Goodbye, Aaron." she kissed his cheek, and apparated away.
