Chad lived in New York with his parents Nick and Valery Spencer. He also had a younger sister Serena, age 9. He went to a New York school for withes and wizards from the day he was 11. He was also a half-blood, since his mother was a muggle.

When he was 16, his father got a job in London, so they moved there. When the school year started, he enrolled the Hogwarts school of withcraft and wizardry

Chad walked into the Hufflepuff common room and gazed at the two color around the room: Black and yellow. He took his heavy bag with him and he sat down on a seat near the fireplace. He looked around and wondered where his room might be.
