First Lesson

Aaron sat at his desk with his legs resting on the tabletop. It felt odd being back here. If it wasn't for the fact that he was at the desk, he could have easily been mistaken for a student, or so he was told. His clothing did not reflect that of a professor, he refused to wear the cloak that the students and professors did.

Brandy Lupin walked into the classroom and took a seat in the back of the room, she could tell with one glance at the teacher that he wasn't exactly one of the best people at Hogwarts. The first thought to cross Brandy's mind was unavoidable; Death Eater.

Charlotte followed Brandy and sat next to her. She immediately recognized the professor, and leaned to Brandy, seeing that she had the same thought. "Aaron Gaton. 3 years in Azkaban for mass murder." she whispered.

Aaron caught 'mass murder' and he realized Charlotte had to be talking about him. He smirked at her and put his feet down from the table. "Twenty people hardly qualifies as mass murder. You ministry folks are always blowing things out of proportion."

Lilly walked in curious to see who the new professor was. She was in shock to see who it was. A death eater. She took a seat near Charlotte and Brandy as she listen to their conversation.

"Oh my god, what is he doing here? " whispered Lilly to Char

"Blowing things out of proportion?" Charlotte chuckled. "You're the one who likes to blow things up." she narrowed her eyes at him. "Sir." she added quickly, but ironically.

Aaron laughed bitterly. "It seems ya know quite a bit 'bout me...Potter, right?"

Zoe entered class. As she entered, she could tell that there was something going on that she wasn't aware of. She contined till she found an empty seat and sat down. Trying not to draw attention to herself.

Charlotte nodded. "I do. But you won't find much information about me, professor... Gaton, right?" she guessed, already knowing the answer.

"Ministry wouldn't keep records on someone so young I guess." Aaron shrugged. "I'm just too easy to track down. Sure is Gaton."

Rosalie walked in and sat near Charlotte and Brandy.
"Hey guys." She said pushing a small strand of blonde hair away from her face.

Alice walked into the classroom. She went to sit by her sister. "Hey," she said to the girls.

Aaron Gaton wrote:

"Ministry wouldn't keep records on someone so young I guess." Aaron shrugged. "I'm just too easy to track down. Sure is Gaton."

"Age doesn't mean power." Charlotte smirked. "I thought you had already learned that with your friend Zylee." she pointed out.

"Yes I do suppose she proves that theory wrong." Aaron laughed. He stood up and paced in front of the board with his hands clasped behind his back.

Charlotte rolled her eyes at Aaron. "Why on earth you think you're qualified to teach at Hogwarts?"

Aaron turned his attention sharply to Charlotte. "I only applied for the job. Talk to the ones who hired me."

"I will." Charlotte replied coldly, turning her attention to her book.

Kristina walked into the Potions classroom. She was probably late but she didn't care. She sat down at the back in an empty desk.

Scorpius walked to class in a rush. He was late, as always. He took an empty seat and looked at the professor. He immediately recognized him. A death eater, Aaron. He was alway in the Malfoy manor when he was little.

"Nice of you to join us Malfoy." Aaron smirked and walked to the board. "I figured for the first class we'd start with the Draught of the Living Death, anyone care to explain what it is?"

Charlotte quickly raised her hand.

Aaron figured Charlotte would answer. "Yes Potter?"

Danielle running late for everything, 'bad girl'. Prefect, she was going to be late to Potions, just like what she always wanted to. After 15 years of being a good girl, let get some action. She walked into the classroom, "morning professor" she said. She acted like she wasn't in a hurry to class.

"Ya could at least act like you're in a hurry Meyer. A few minutes late is understandable, but ten minutes?" Aaron smirked at Danielle. He wasn't going to let her off the hook. After all he did have a reputation to uphold. "Detention, my office, tonight. Find a seat and make it quick."

"Like I should..." Danielle said about being in a hurry. She rolled her eyes, "Good to know, that I got detention..." she chuckled with an evil smile unlikely. She took her seat.

Aaron rolled his eyes. "Keep that up, and I'll make it two Meyer. Anyway Potter, you were saying?"

"The Draught of Living Death causes someone to fall into a deep sleep, but not an actual death." Charlotte answered, a bit annoyed with Aaron's attitude. "I makes it look like it."

Scorpius concentrated. He really sucked at Oclumensy, but he had to try. "When are we meeting? Zylee mention something..." thought Scorpius and tried to sent his thoughts to Aaron

"Very good Potter, ten points to the Gryffies." Aaron shot a glare at Scorpius. Get the hell out of my head Malfoy.

"Damn it!" yelled Scorpius suddenly. He looked around, only to see the whole class looking at him. He didn't wanted to say this out loud.
"You stupid git, you don't understand!" thought Scorpius. Merlin, he was bad at this.
