New Beginnings

Rosalie ran down the stairs of the new house. She was finally happy that she had a place to call her own. She had boxes everywhere and the only place that wasn't unpacked was the kitchen. She grabbed an apple from the bowl on the counter and slouched down on the sofa ,tired from all the painting she had done earlier that day.

Charlotte apparated at Rose's new house. "Wow!" she exclaimed and went to find Rose. She spotted her on the couch and sat next to her. "Hey, I thought you could need some help." she smiled, hugging her. Charlotte didn't warn Rose she was going to show up, but she didn't need to, since they were best friends. Char knew Rose wouldn't mind, and would even appreciate the company.

"Hey! Do you like it?" She asked her best friend "I've been painting all morning."She said and pointed to her clothes and a smudges on her arms from the paint.

"If I like it?" Char gasped. "It's gorgeous!" she squeaked. "I can help you unpack, if you want."

"Believe it or not I think the only room upacked is the kitchen." She replied

Charlotte got up. "We have to start, then. This place seems huge." she chuckled.

"I had to get a bigger place an all. Plus there is a great pool so we can have parties here all the time." Rose said with a grin and walked into the kitchen, which had several boxes in different places

Charlotte followed her. "Rose... what's going on?" she asked her best friend. She had been acting quite weird for the past weeks, and Charlotte was worried about her.

"Nothing. Do you like the wood on the cabinets?" Rose asked changing the subject.

Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Yes, Rose, I do." she said quickly. "Don't change the subject."

"Fine. But what do you mean?" Rose asked raising an eyebrow

Charlotte sat at the kitchen table and motioned for Rose to sit too. "You're always sad, mumbling things and you don't smile for weeks. I mean, a real smile. A real laugh." she said.

Bella walked in and looked around for Charlotte and Rose. She knew Char would be coming to help Rose. "Char? Rose? Either of you here?" she asked and walked around a little lost.

Char heard Bella calling. "In here!" she shouted. "In the kitchen!"

Bells sighed and looked around. "Where's that at?! She laughed and looked in random rooms then finally found it. "Found it!" she laughed and sat down next to Char. "Okay, now that I've found you two. Rose, what's up with you? You've looked like a three year old who lost her balloon."

Charlotte nodded. "See? Even Bella noticed."

Bella nodded her head. "I say we go on a shopping spree!" Bella smiled and jumped up off her chair and did a back hand spring. "Come on, it'd be fun! Getting up early, rushing around the mall, buying whatever we wanted, hanging out. Come on, pleeeeeeease. We haven't gone in forever."

Charlotte laughed at Bella's excitement. "I think it sounds great!"

Bells put on her famous puppy pout face and got on her knees in front of Rose. "Please please please pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaase."

Charlotte kneeled down next to Bella. "Come oooon!" she begged.

Bella pouted even more when Charlotte got down with her. "Come on, please Rosie?"

"So now i'm acting different?" Rose asked putting her hands on her hips. She though to herself Maybe I'm just sick of being lonely "So what where you going to tell me the other day in the great hall. You said you had to talk to me." Rose said unpacking another box

Lily walked in and smiled at her friends. "Hey guys, I heard you were here." said Lily.

"Hey Lills." Rose turned from the box and smiled
"How are ya?" She asked putting glasses up in the cabinet.

Charlotte helped Rose with the glasses. "Who, me?" she raised an eyebrow. "I don't remember anymore." she said honestly. "Hey, Lily.

"It was something about the baby." Rose said

Charlotte remembered what she wanted to say. "Oh, nevermind." she muttered. With everything Zylee had told her, Char decided it was better to keep the baby, although it was the second time she considered to give her son for adoption, or even to abort.

"Fine." Rose said and dropped a glass because she had one too many in her hands

Charlotte jumped back when Rose dropped the glass. "Watch out!" she chuckled.

"I'm sorry. I'm just so clumsy lately." She said
