New Beginnings

"Oh. But you believe him?" Rose asked

Charlotte shrugged. "I guess I do. I always tried to convince myself that he didn't anymore, but there was something about the way he looked at me... I don't know." she couldn't help but smile.

"I wouldn't trust him so easily right now." She said taking a sip of her drink "I would be afraid he would hurt me."

"Rose!" Charlotte frowned. "How can you say that? Lucas is not like any other guy. Besides, I hurt him, not the contrary. He should be the one to be apprehensive about this." she said wisely. Although Rose was right, Charlotte didn't want to think about it anymore. She loved Lucas, and that was enough to get together with him.

"He hurt you too Char..." said Lily. "But if you still love each other, that doesn't matter. Just that you are happy" said Lily smiling, aldo she was a bit worried about her.

"Thanks Lils." Charlotte smiled, but noticed some hesitation on Lily's voice. "I really do. And I believe he does too."

"That's great then. We are all happy for you" said Lily smiling and hugged her.

Charlotte sighed in relief. "And now my baby has his father again." she muttered, stroking her growing belly lovingly.

"Speaking of the bundle of joy.." Rose said "How far along are you now?" She asked

"I'm 4 months already!" Char squeaked. "Time flies." she smiled.

"Wow...time really flies. 4 moths already? I can barely see you're pregnant" said Lily

Charlotte giggled. "Thank Merlin. I don't want to look like a fat whale."

"My stomach was huge." Rose laughed as Lilly looked at her. "Thought of any names?"She asked Charlotte

"We already decided it, actually." Charlotte smiled. "We're going to name him Harry, in honour to my grandfather. Lucas thought it was a great idea."

"Aw! That's so cute." Rose said smiling

Charlotte shrugged her shoulders and rested her head on a pillow, laying down on the couch. She stroked her belly and giggled. "It sounds perfect." she nodded.

"It does." Rose said and sighed leaning against a wall
