While others were at the dance

"Snake father? What?" Jennifer asked, she didn't understand, she turned towards Mariana wondering why she hadn't told her this.

She hit him lightly. "Shush Jor." She sighed. "Let's just keep it at him and his parents aren't exactly...nice people. But I like him, our parents were friends and I am friends with him." Mari thought back. "Even dated him from first to fourth year, on and off quiet a bit though. I never really loved him more than a brotherly way. Then Jordan here came and stole my heart." she smiled at him. "His family is a bunch of DE's."

Jennifer Didnt know anything about the DE's, she mostly focused on the werewolfs since she was bit. But she was interested now, "So who are these...D..Es you are talking about?" Jennifer asked, noticing the shock on their faces imediatly.

Jordan laughed when Marina hit him on the shoulder He smirked as he listened to her speak of when they had first met.

"What? Your bloody joking, right?", Jordan asked, not very shocked because he thought she was only yanking his chain.

"No, I'm not joking, I spend most of my time searching for the werewolf who killed my whole family." Jennifer said, hoping he would answer her this time.

An expression of amazement washed over his features. "Wow, ignorance is bliss. Your lucky not to be caught up in all the Death Eater crap. They are a group of people that go around murdering innocent blood just because they are power hungry".

"Wow, sounds alot worse than the werewolfs I've been trying to find." Jennifer said, then turned to Mariana, "Do you know anyone else that is single?"

Marina thought for a few minutes. "No, not really. None that I can think of."

Jordan felt a craving for more blood take over him. He glanced at the path deeper into the forest. He stood up swiftly and smirked, eyes locked on an animal not far from there. "Good day you two", He said with a wave in the girls' dirrection and dissapeared quickly deeper into the forest.

Mari shook her head. "He needs to feed."

Jennifer looked up as he left, then looked back over at Marianna, "So would you be able to introduce me to this Jude guy?" Jennifer asked knowing she would probably say no, but why not try.

Mari shrugged. "Sure, I guess I can introduce you two if you really want. I'm just surprised you still want to meet him after what we've told you about him."

"Oh, well right now anything is better than nothing. So when can you introduce me?" Jennifer asked, hoping it would be soon.

"Sure, here tomorrow sound good?" she asked smiling.

"Make it a couple of hours after the sun goes up, tonight is another full moon. But I can't wait to meet him, I hope he likes me?" Jennifer said half talking to herself.

Mari nodded. "Alright, and don't worry. I've known Jude my whole life... he will. Oh, and another thing, he's a vampire."

Jennifer looked over at him alittle shocked, "Another vampire, what if he finds out I'm a werewolf? Can werewolfs and vampires date?" Jennifer said, starting to panick.

Mari laughed and put a hand on her shoulder. "Come down Jenny, he won't care, and yes they can. I've seen it happen before."

"Wow, really, thats awesome. So what does he look like again?" Jennifer asked, thinking about meeting him.

Jude walked over to Marina and another girl. "Hey Marz," he said and looked over the other girl and smirked. "Hello, I don't think we've met before." he said to her and bowed lightly taking her hand in his. "I'm Jude Myers."

Mari smiled at Jude and Jenny. "Jenny, this is my best friend Jude... as he's just said."

"Oh, well, um...Hi." Jennifer said, leting him hold her hand. Jennifer started blushing, she hoped that he hadn't heard anything they had just talked about.

Jude smirked at her blush. "You know, you're cute when you blush." he told her looking at her.

Jude shrugged and nodded. "On and off for awhile.... until she met Diggory." he said with disgust. "Sorry, personally don't like the fellow." he said and shrugged.

Jennifer looked up at him, "Why, he seemed cool to me?" Jennifer asked wondering why.

"Well... let's just say they've never gotten along just because of me." Mari shrugged. "Jude is my best friend and doesn't think Jordan is good for me. Jordan doesn't like Jude for many reasons. They just don't get along." Mari pretended to look at a watch. "Oh, would you look at the time. Gots to go, you two have fun now." She smiled and ran towards the school.

Jennifer's mouth droped open, "Hey..." She said, putting her hand out for Mari to stop, but she was already gone. She then looked up at Jude, and started blushing again.

Jude smiled and took her hand again. "Care for a walk?" he asked polietly.

"Um...sure." Jennifer said, letting him take her hand again. She was starting to like the feel of his hand in hers.
